Computer morphing rhinoplasty
Computer morphing rhinoplasty is a very helpful tool during rhinoplasty consultation. Modifying images taken in the office using computer software allows you and your potential surgeon to figure out whether your aesthetic goals are the same.
This should not be construed as a guaranteed result but it is a communication tool. The experienced rhinoplasty surgeon can tell you what changes are possible and which are unrealistic. This should allow you and your chosen surgeon to proceed to surgery with the same game plan.

Computer imaging can be very useful in planning for rhinoplasty. I would advise to use caution. Be sure your surgeon can deliver on what he says he can do. Anyone can make a computer make a picture look better. It is far more difficult to actually perform the surgery. I would advise you to see multiple surgeons in consultation before having any surgery.

I find computer imaging in rhinoplasty to be a very effective communication tool for my patients and me to be on the same page regarding surgical goals. Most surgeons use software programs specifically developed for surgical application so the image is reflective of a realistic result.

Morphing before rhinoplasty good idea for teaching!
I routinely morph my patients photos, although we take the photos in a very standardized setting and positioning, with standard views. This allows before/after comparison but also more realistic morphing.
Most commonly I morph the side view, as this is where most of the changes are seen the easiest with the least distortion of other facial features. I recommend you find a physician who can listen to what changes you want to your nose and who can then morph your photo to demonstrate realistic results expected.
