I would agree that this is necrosis. To what extent I can’t say without an examination. You should follow the guidance of your Plastic Surgeon and consult with him/her for any concerns. With necrosis it’s a watch and wait scenario. Good Luck

You look like a great candidate for a breast lift. Your surgeon may want to reduce the left side a little bit to get your breasts as symmetric as possible. If you haven’t had a consultation yet please make sure it is with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. Good Luck

Your breast augmentation looks great. Without preop pictures I’m not sure if your breast were asymmetric naturally, which most women are. At this point you left breast looks slightly larger, which is minimal at best and it could just be swelling from your procedure still. If it is your nipple asymmetry you are worried then you could have a crescent left on your right side to lift up the areolar, but then you will have a scar there. Talk to your Plastic Surgeon about your options…

Sorry to hear about your pain.After implant removal it takes time for your capsule to “scar down”. This may be what your pain is coming from. As the scar tissue forms it can be painful. Please see your Plastic Surgeon and be evaluated to assure you don’t have an infection.

It looks like your right breast may still be swollen or you had some breast asymmetry naturally. Without your pre-op pictures it is hard for me to comment, but since it has only been 4 weeks you still have some time for things to settle out. Follow the advise from your Plastic Surgeon. Good Luck

I usually tell my patients to wait 4 weeks before any kind of exercise. The reason is because I want to make sure the incision is totally healed. When you sweat it can run under you breast causing irritation of the incision and can sometimes cause an infection. I think you need to take it easy and follow up with your Plastic Surgeon. Good luck

Hi and thank you for the question. The timing of drain removal cannot be accurately predicted before the procedure is performed. The drainage will be impacted by the amount of dissection that needs to be done to remove your capsule. Generally, I like to leave drains in place until they are putting out less than 30ml of fluid for three days in a row. This will decrease the risk of seroma formation. Hi and thank you for the question. It is not usual to have pain caused from an abdominoplasty five years after the procedure. A good plan would be for you to start with calling your board certified Plastic Surgeon, but they may direct you to a general surgeon to rule out any other problems. Good luck with everything!

Hi and thank you for the question. From your photos, this would appear to be localized inflammation from a suture abscess. This is often caused from burying the knots after suturing closed an incision. However, if you have a concern you should always call and make an appointment to see your board certified Plastic Surgeon. Good luck with everything.

Hi and thank you for your question. I think if you wanted to do this before your wedding, it probably would have been better to do it 6-9 months ahead of time. Everyone heals differently and you could still have significant swelling only 11 weeks out. It seems as though this may cause even more stress if this were the case and you would be better off waiting until after. Good luck with everything.

Hi and thank you for the question. Generally after most surgeries, NSAIDs and aspirin are avoided to reduce the chance of bleeding complications. In our practice, we give narcotics such as Percocet and Vicodin.
