Heavy lifting or vigorous activities should be avoided for 4-6 weeks. The activities required of you for your party will determine what is permissible. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to have some help. Congratulations on your recent surgery!
Following breast reduction, it takes at least 6-8 weeks for the breasts to assume their shape. The tissues have been re-draped and must settle in. Often, swelling will distort the tissues initially, and may totally mask the final result.

Hi and welcome to our forum!From your photograph, it appears that the left breast has indeed bottomed out and as a result there is less superior fullness and the nipple rides high on the breast mound. One can lift the left breast with a superior capsulotomy and inferior capsulorrhaphy. Alternatively, one can release the inframammary fold to lower the right breast.
