As for the smell you experience, there are a number of possible causes including infection, dryness and crusting, or just a temporary altered sense of smell related to the nasal surgery. While it is completely normal to experience severe swelling in the first months after rhinoplasty, a high fever can signal an infection. To ensure that no damage has been done to your healing process, I recommend returning to your plastic surgeon for an examination.

The TCA peel is not recommended for all skin tones. Hyper and hypo-pigmentation is more likely to occur when used on those with a darker complexion. Like any chemical peel, the TCA peel should also not be performed at home.
