Answer Snippet
Would a Sliding Genioplasty give the appearance of a more defined jawline?
jawline
Feb 17, 2020
I agree, the sliding genioplasty would only effect the anterior 1/3 of the jawline (chin prominence). A advancement genioplasty would give improvement from the side view if you’re looking for a more defined chin.
Do I have a slight overbite or deep bite and how can I correct this?
Orthodontics
Feb 11, 2020
Hi I think your best best bet is to have a consultation with a qualified orthodontist. They will be able to provide you the details for changing your current bite.
Is a dental bone graft absolutely necessary for me?
Grafting
Sep 17, 2019
I agree, bone grafting is necessary at both sites in which you are looking to have teeth replaced by implants in the future. The grafting in the upper left quadrant would include a sinus lift procedure. Hope this helps.
What kind of downtime can I except for dental implants? How long before I can eat and will there be
Implant downtime
Sep 12, 2019
Downtime typically depends on the number of implants being placed and the additional procedures performed, if any, such as bone grafting. Although everyone’s experience can be different downtime for a single dental implant is typically less than the extraction downtime. Typically, most are low key for a day and able to return to normal activities and a modified diet the next day.
Hope this is of help.

What treatment would give the best result for my acne scars?
Treatment
Sep 11, 2019
Hello,
I think subcision for the deeper scarring to start followed by a series of ResurFX treatments (3-6) would be a reasonable option for treatment for the scars you currently have. I would seek out a professional that has a wealth of experience in treating acne scarring.
Will Hyaluronidase injection to dissolve Juvederm affect natural volume in my lips?
Decreasing volume
Sep 10, 2019
Hyaluronidase is difficult to control in regard to reducing volume evenly after filler placement. It will not effect the natural lip fullness. I’d consider waiting until the effects have self resolved in 9-12 months or remove the filler entirely.
Can I do IPL on my nose to treat my rosacea without affecting my melasma?
spot size
May 21, 2019
Yes, using a smaller spot size and the correct wavelength will keep the treatment isolated to just the rosacea
