Don’t fret! A nose takes at least one year to heal following a rhinoplasty. At 11 days post-op, your nose will still be quite swollen. I know that being patient is easier said than done, but the best course right now really is to give it some time to settle. Hi, it is very difficult to tell from this photo but sometimes a surgeon will place material in the nose after rhinopalsty (different types of material that vary from stents to packing to hemostatic agents), and will remove these in the office during your post-op visit. Light bleeding or blood stained secretions following rhinoplasty is normal. Bright red bleeding that is brisk and does not stop warrants medical attention.
