Dr. Sanovich received his Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from the University of Utah, and his dental degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. He then completed his training in oral and maxillofacial surgery from the University of Florida. His special interest in facial cosmetic surgery led him to complete a highly sought-after fellowship in facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery with Dr. John Griffin in Columbus, Mississippi.

If you were injected by a licensed physician, then I would suggest returning to that provider for a follow up appointment. If you were injected by an esthetician or someone who does not hold a medical license, then I would contact your primary care physician for a follow up. Best of luck!
Is 20 units on the jaw enough?

Hello! The amount of units used is dependent upon the patient and their personal aesthetic goals. Some of our patients have been treated with about 20 units per side, while others have been injected with approximately 40-50 units per side (so 80-100 units total) to treat TMJ pain as well as slimming of the jawline for cosmetic reasons.
Why has my silicone chin implant shifted twice from the same side while the other has remained perf

It is not always necessary to use screws to secure the implant, but I do feel that it is very beneficial.  Typically a chin implant can be placed directly on the mandible or in a soft tissue pocket just below the skin.  If a well defined pocket is created then shifting does not typically occur, but this definitely happens.  If the implant has shifted the sooner you have it revised the easier it will be to reposition it appropriately.  I would recommend having the implant place...
