Breast implants are often placed submuscularly, that is under the pectoralis major muscle. This muscle extends from the medial chest wall to the humerus or upper arm bone. When the muscle is contracted, the implant may move or feel as though it is being pulled.

I recommend patients wait 8 weeks following surgery. Any type of stretching or pulling on the scar may widen it permanently.

I usually take photos of the amount of fat that I remove from an individual during their liposuction procedure. It would be hard to imagine no visible difference. Sometimes when people do not have elastic skin, they have no contraction of the skin following the procedure and may require a different type of operation to actually excise and tighten the skin: this is known as a brachioplasty.

Implants can be re-placed under the muscle can add a natural protective layer which is usually thick and can cover the implant. Sometimes it will make the result look more natural. You should wait a little longer to see if there is improvement with the sensitivity in your nipples. This should get better with time.

Mommy Makeovers can improve sagging breasts from breast feeding with a breast lift. An abdominoplasty can also successfully improve tightening of the abdomen from loose skin and loose muscle which may be caused by pregnancy. I believe you would benefit from liposculpting in certain areas as well. These would be the procedures I would consider performing if you were a mommy makeover patient of mine.

There are different surgical techniques that can be utilized to sometimes improve this complication. These techniques vary from changing the type of implant, changing the position the implant is placed (which could include placing the implant under the muscle if it was originally placed above the muscle), or sometimes even using grafts which can camouflage the edge of the implant.
