Botox is a very effective treatment for excessive sweating and it is relatively simple procedure to do. It can be performed by any certified injector, including plastic surgeon, dermatologist, aesthetic medicine doctor or trained nurses under doctor’s supervision. I don’t think there is a difference in specialties, but you may have personal preference whom you want to work with.
Nurses know nothing about medication, why can they administer botox? Or are they doing it illegally?
Botox injections by nurses

You must have really bad experience with nurses:(
Most of them study for at least 4-5 years, sometimes 8 (Nurse Practitioners). Only in some states it is allowed for nurses to inject Botox, always under doctor’s supervision. They may not know about medications as much as doctor of pharmacy, but they are trained to do procedures, including injections, as opposed to pharmacists. You should always chose an injector that you trust, and most of them are doctors. Good Luck.

Which treatment would help correct the wrinkles around my eyes and the crows feet?
Botox for Crows Feet

Nov 26, 2017
Botox is a perfect solution for wrinkles around the eyes that move. It will not erase wrinkles that stay even if you are not smiling, but it may soften them. definietly worthed to try. Botox has it’s limitations and can not be used all the way under your eyes. There are other nonsurgical procedures that can help, including PRP injection, Microneedling or Mesotherpay. Always remeber to hydrate well by drinking at least 2 liters of water and using good eye cream- I recommend…
Can a register dental assistant administrator botox?
Botox injection- who can do it?
Nov 26, 2017
Nov 26, 2017
Absolutely not!! Regulations may vary by state, but it is a medical procedure. Even if it is relatively simple to do by an expert, it requires knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Also Allergan (company that makes Botox) would not sell it to someone without a licence, so I would question where is this Botox coming from (most likely not legal sources). Botox contains Botulinum Toxin made from live bacteria, and it needs to be stored in the freezer. Illegal transport from China,…
From what I have read online, the o-shot effects are not permanent. Is that true? If so, I am curious t
O-shot

Nov 26, 2017
O-shot is a very simple, painless procedure that utilizes your own blood to stimulate new cells growth in your intimate area, therefore it makes your reaction more sensitive to stimulation. As with all natural processes in your body, everything is ongoing and nothing is permanent. Our new cells age, including those stimulated by the O-shot. Average patient will sustain the results for about 1 year, however it can vary. O-shot doesn’t help if there is emotional reason…
I want to go for a 3rd round of Accutane. Should I do it?
Severe cystic acne
Oct 29, 2017
Oct 29, 2017
Acne is a chronic condition and it is not uncommon to need repeated courses of treatment. However your dosing is exceptionally high. Maybe you should have your testosterone tested. I think you need additional treatment with Spironolactone 100mg and Oral contraceptives. Also very important to follow up after treatment is completed to establish treatment to prevent reoccurence – I typically keep patients on Tretinoin cream for a few years, together with birth control and…
How long does it take for Accutane to work, will I get my beautiful dark complexion back?
Accutane for acne
Oct 29, 2017
Oct 29, 2017
It takes usually 2 months to start seeing results, but it may take up to 12 months (and sometimes longer) to get the skin you want. It may not be 100% better, but close to it. Sometimes scaring may require additional treatment after you are done with Accutane. Be patient and good luck!
