Can Botox fix my asymmetrical eyes? One eye is bigger then the other.
Droopy eyelid

Hi – thank you for the question. Your right eyelid looks droopy in the photo & this cannot be fixed with Botox. I recommend evaluation by an Oculoplastic Surgeon to determine the cause of the droopy eyelid & offer treatment options.

Can I get rid of the eye bag under one eye?
Eye bag treatment options

Hi! Thank you for the question. Treatment depends on the cause of your eye bag. Also hard to evaluate without pre-chalazion photos. Your lower eyelid bag is either swelling or a fat pocket. Residual swelling one year after chalazion removal is rare. Swelling can be disguised by filler. A fat pocket can be removed surgically with a hidden incision on the inside of the eyelid. An in person consultation with give guide you to the best option.

Can Botox or filler correct upper eyelid ptosis?
Ptosis cannot be fixed with Botox/filler

Hi – thank you for the question! Unfortunately ptosis cannot be corrected with wrinkle relaxers (Botox/Dysport/Xeomin) or filler. I cannot comment on your specific situation without a photo.
Subtle changes in brow position with wrinkle relaxers can improve the perceived appearance of lid symmetry. The more of your eyelid platform (place where you apply eyeshadow) is seen, the more “droopy” your eyelid appears. If you pull up on the eyebrow on the LESS droopy side & like this app…

Botox/Dysport/Xeomin for eyelid twitch

Thank you for the question. There are different forms of eyelid twitching. If your twitch is only one lid, then it is called myokymia & can be treated with Botox, Dysport or Xeomin. Since myokymia can be temporary, the injections are not often needed every 3-4 months, and in some cases repeat treatment is not necessary.
I recommend seeing someone experienced with evaluating & treating facial twitching or spasms — an Oculoplastic Surgeon or Facial Plastic Surgeon.

I have “sad” eyes. What can I do to look more cheerful and not tired all the time?
Sad eyebrows

Feb 16, 2019
Hi – thank you for your question. The shape of your eyebrows at the outer edges, towards your ears, gives you a sad eye appearance. I recommend Botox injections to lift the brows; the injections will need to be repeated about every 3 months. If you like this look & want a more permanent solution, a surgical brow lift can achieve the same look. An upper blepharoplasty will give you a larger space to apply eyeshadow but will not change the overall “sad” appearance you…

Lower eyelid surgery – bleeding risk
Feb 12, 2019
Feb 12, 2019
Hi – thank you for the question. In general, risk of bleeding is greatest in the first 48 hours after surgery. Your surgeon can tell you how your own medical background influences this risk, for example – if you take blood thinners such as aspirin, then your risk is greater.
I tell all of my patients having eyelid surgery that signs of a bleed behind the eye are all of a sudden 8/10 pain and not being able to open or close the eyelids – if you notice this &…

How many syringes of filler do I need for under eyes?
Tear trough filler & sad appearing eyes

Jan 20, 2019
Hi – thanks for the question. Small amounts of filler to the tear troughs can make a big difference. I recommend starting with one syringe – you can always easily add more but can’t take away part of what’s added.
Regarding the sad appearance, it’s hard to assess from your photo. Droopy upper eyelids (ptosis) and down sloping outer brows can contribute to a sad appearance. Ptosis can be corrected surgically and botox/dysport can lift the outer brows. I recommend seein…
