Am I a good candidate for rhinoplasty?
Nasal hump
Aug 30, 2018
Aug 30, 2018
You can expect a nice natural change to your profile with rhinoplasty surgery, lowering the nasal hump somewhat possibly combined with a cartilage graft to the dorsum just above the bump.
What can I do to make my profile look better/ more proportionate?
Nasal profile changes
Aug 30, 2018
Aug 30, 2018
Although you have a nice smooth nasal dorsum , overall you could consider lowering the entire nasal dorsum and tip somewhat. For tip lowering I usually recommend this be done through an open ( external) rhinoplasty to remove a segment of the medial and lateral crurae of the tip cartilages as well as lowering the cartilaginous and bony dorsum. Make sure you are able to see various options with computer imaging prior to making a decision.
Can tip only rhinoplasty be performed without shaving my dorsal hump?
Nasal tip surgery without hump reduction

Jun 13, 2018
You certainly could perform tip surgery without hump reduction however based on your pictures I believe your nose would look out of balance.
Generally with your tip and profile I would recommend hump reduction with tip modification.
Of course you should be able to review these various options with computer imaging and decide based on your impression.

Is there a need for cartilage support in all nose jobs?
Nasal support with rhinoplasty surgery
Jun 13, 2018
Jun 13, 2018
Generally when performing Open (External) Rhinoplasty, some type of support is necessary to preserve tip position that being either a cartilage strut or suturing of the columella to the septum.
With Closed (endonasal) Rhinoplasty cartilage tip support is not affected as much. Cartilage grafts for support are therefore usually not necessary.

I HATE my large, round, bulbous nose! I have wanted a nose job for years, could I be a can

Tip rhinoplasty with partial resection and/or tip suture techniques can satisfactorily address the concerns with your tip. Seek advice from an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon.
Am I a good candidate for rhinoplasty? I’ve always wanted it but people say it looks fine

Objectively there are certainly some issues that may be successfully addressed with rhinoplasty. It appears you have a nasal hump which could be corrected to achieve a straighter profile.
The base view also suggests a wide nasal tip which could also be addressed.
Make sure you see an experienced surgeon and are able to review several options with computer imaging.

I’m interested in getting a rhinoplasty, how can I make my nose look smaller?
Smaller nose with Rhinoplasty
Jun 12, 2018
Jun 12, 2018
A smaller nose may refer to a number of issues. With the photos you provided it appears that the nasal dorsum can be reduced somewhat particularily in the supratip region ( just above the tip) in combination with refining the tip and possibly lessening tip projection. you may also consider rotating the tip upwards. Make sure you are able to see an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon and review several options with computer imaging prior to making a decision
Almost 6 months post-op. What can I expect to change about my nose?
Swelling after rhinoplasty
Jun 12, 2018
Jun 12, 2018
It takes at least a year to see the full results of rhinoplasty especially in the tip region. You should see further improvement over the next 6 months. Review with your surgeon as at times low dose steroid injections may be helpful in refining the tip.
4.5 months (19 weeks) post rhinoplasty – is it safe to weight-lift?
Exercise after Rhinoplasty
Jun 12, 2018
Jun 12, 2018
Absolutely ok to resume exercise at this point.. I usually recommend minimum of 2 weeks of no heavy exertion after rhinoplasty, possibly longer if implants as you had.
Do I need a nose job or just nasal tip surgery?
Nasal tip surgery
May 31, 2018
May 31, 2018
Although nasal tip surgery in isolation may be satisfactory, I have a sense from your pictures that a subtle lowering of the bridge and slight lessening of tip projection in association with tip narrowing may be a nice natural change for you. Contact an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon to discuss various options illustrated with computer imaging.
How can my crooked tip be fixed?
Crooked nasal tip
May 31, 2018
May 31, 2018
Generally when addressing a crooked nasal tip I would recommend an external (open) rhinoplasty approach to properly analyze and surgically manage the asymmetry. This may involve simply repositioning and suturing the tip cartilages in a symmetrical fashion but also may involve partial resection of one or both cartilages.
Will rhinoplasty fix sinus issues?
Rhinoplasty for sinus issues?
May 31, 2018
May 31, 2018
Rhinoplasty will not address any sinus issues however sinus surgery, if necessary to manage chronic recurrent sinusitis, could be performed at the same time.
