For asymmetric enlargement of the masseter muscle due to over activity such as grinding teeth or chewing gum on one side all the time Botox is an appropriate treatment. It usually takes a couple treatments 3 months apart before the muscle atrophies in response to the medicine and decreased activity. I recommend visiting a Plastic Surgeon near you for evaluation to ensure this is indeed your problem and that the treatment is right for you.
