What type of surgery do I need to fix the tip of my nose?
A complex rhinoplasty can shorten your nose. More...
Nov 22, 2023
What I notice most about your nose is that it is *long,* where long means that the tip droops down. We would want to elevate the tip, like in the woman whose before and after I posted with this response. The two cartilages that form the tip of the nose are responsible for holding the tip down, and modification of those two cartilages would be one of the main tasks in a rhinoplasty on your nose.

How *much* to elevate the tip, or make other changes? We figure that out with morphs, well before...

Visible round tip graft - is tip plasty an option?
Well, of course it somewhat depends on what the tip looks like. But ...
Nov 22, 2023
Boy, if the graft edges are sharp enough to show up well and be a problem, putting stuff around the edges won't keep the edges from still pressing up against the skin. The added material will go *around* the edges and the edges themselves will still be a bother, and now your tip will be much larger, too, probably not something you're looking for. I'd do bunches of research before going down that path. Another revision, depending on what's gone on so far surgically of course, doesn't have to...
Line down middle of nose along with asymmetry, why is this happening?
It's not the skin care. It's the cartilages in the tip of your nose. More ...
Nov 20, 2023
You have a milder version of the wide tip cartilages in the before and after photo I posted with this answer. The two cartilages that form the tip of your nose are broad and strong, and they make the tip look wide-ish. When the tip cartilages are like that, you can often also see the little dent between the cartilages where they meet in the middle. If you like the new skin care, don't stop using it.

How to correct the line? It would actually be quite difficult, if you like the rest of your...

Can I get a nose job to remove bulbous tip, fix some other issues with nose, and make it a litt
You're a good candidate for a rhinoplasty. Don't worry about the philtrum. More...
Nov 17, 2023
To my eye, your upper lip is already quite short, and you're not at all a candidate for a lip lift anyway. You had complained about the relative "depressions" to the side of the philtral columns, but they are just a normal variation of facial shape. You just happen to notice them more than other people might; you're probably very observant about a lot of things. When we're deciding whether to change something on the nose (and I agree that the tip looks somewhat bulbous), we don't very often...
Candidate for Revision Rhinoplasty?
Whether a revision is "safe" depends on several factors. More...
Nov 15, 2023
It depends on what we want to change, how predictable it is to change the issues, and by how *much* we want to change them. For example, if we want to change something by a very tiny amount (tiny when measured with a ruler, not tiny by how much it bugs you), it's harder, because we can never hit something 100% on the target: if we wanted to change it a lot and we miss by a little bit, we still got a big improvement. If we want to change it a teeny-tiny amount and we miss by a little bit,...
Can I make my nose look similar to this?
I think it's realistic to get the frontal view narrower like your inspo. More...
Nov 15, 2023
Besides the wide tip cartilages and the wide placement of the upper lateral cartilages, it looks like the upper third of your nose, the nasal bones, are also widely-spaced. But narrowing the bones is usually rather predictable in a rhinoplasty, so that's good. The hardest part is dealing with the tip cartilages, but in expert hands, some substantial improvement is likely there, too.

How *much* to narrow the various parts of the frontal view, or make other changes (I haven't seen photos of...

Rhinoplasty with thin skin?
Too old, too thin? Naah, you're skin looks fine to me. More...
Nov 13, 2023
Of course I haven't had the chance to feel your skin, but your photos show a nose that looks like average less-thick-than-a-teenager's skin, and lots of adults have this operation. You also seem to be a very good candidate because you have features that are, in expert hands, usually rather predictable to improve: the bump on the bridge, but also the length of the nose and the prominence of the tip.

ow *much* to elevate or narrow the tip, or lower the bump, or make other changes? We figure...

What is wrong with my nose? Any advice or recommendations?
It depends on what you notice and what is bothering you. More ...
Nov 8, 2023
What I see is that the tip and lower half of the nose still looks wide-ish. If that is no longer swelling, but rather the size and position of the cartilages, then those cartilages can be modified in a revision. But I don't see a profile view to evaluate the length of the nose, and it's typically the 3/4 views that show the width of the tip best.

Should I get an alarplasty to look more feminine & have nose look less wide at the side? (Photo
No, I don't think it'd be an alarplasty that helps. More ...

I know, I don't have a complete set of photos from all angles here, but it seems to me that the two cartilages that form the tip of your nose are strong, and sitting in a wide position, and it's those cartilages that hold the alae where they are, making the whole bottom third of your nose look wider than you'd like to see it. From these pics, it seems to me that you might consider a rhinoplasty; I don't see that an alarplasty would change anything for the better.

How *much* to change the...

Am I a candidate for a nose job?
Yes, I would say you are a good candidate for a nose job. More ...

I see three main areas to address on your nose. You have that bump on the bridge. Your nose is long, with the tip hanging down more than perhaps it needs to. And the profile view shows, in addition to the low tip, that the tip projects forward away from your face strongly. Bringing the tip back closer to your face helps in making the nose look less prominent.

How *much* to elevate the tip, or deproject the nose, or make other changes? We figure that out with morphs, well before surgery....

Can I achieve refinement with medium thick skin?
Seems to me you're a good candidate for a rhinoplasty. More ...

The nose naturally tends to get longer with age, as gravity pulls on it over the decades, so it's not unusual that you would think it's longer than it was. Also, for many people, the skin tends to get thinner, showing the underlying tip cartilages better, a very subtle change, but we interpret it as the tip getting wider. From these photos, you don't seem to have skin that particularly thick. It's probably more that the cartilages are strong, and that bodes well for the results of a...
Nose base feels still & worried nose tip is overprojected, could this be swelling?
I agree that your nose looks strongly projecting. A few questions ...

Was it this over-projecting *before* the 2nd operation? If the surgeon only put in a "tiny bit" of cartilage, you wouldn't think it would make a huge difference in the projection. I'd love to see some pre-2nd-surgery photos. The contours of the tip of your nose seem to indicate that you've already lost the great majority of your swelling, so I'm not so sure that any more deprojection will happen with more time. Could there have been a big graft that was placed all along the base of the nose?...
Would I be a good candidate for non surgical nose job? Want to get rid of the hump and straight
My two cents? A filler rhinoplasty on your nose would be awful. More ...

Filler would try to mask the bump by filing in the relative depression just above the bump. But when you put something in, it makes things look bigger. So yeah, it might be harder to see the bump, but your nose would look substantially larger, and I doubt that's what you're looking for. Do a Google search for "Roman statue facial profile" to see what happens when you fill out above the bump.

In a regular rhinoplasty, the bump would be lowered, and the tip elevated.

Will I be able to get a more deprojected nose via revision rhinoplasty?
I agree with your assessment. You need a rather dramatic deprojection and more ...

You already know that your nose is too projecting, especially in relation to your bridge. You might be underestimating how much tip elevation your nose can use, however. When a nose is deprojected, it has a tendency to make the nose *look* longer, as though the tip had actually dropped, so a goal would be to get the tip up enough that it looks good with the newly-deprojected tip. The good news is that, in expert hands, these two changes, deprojection and elevation, are two of the more...
Is it possible for me to have a tip rhinoplasty?
You have a nose that is "projecting," and just a little bit "long." More...

When a nose comes out strongly forward away from the face, we call that a "projecting" nose, and we want to "de-project" it, by bringing it closer to the face. A "long" nose is a nose that is long if you measure from where the nose begins between the eyes, down along the bridge to the tip. So a long nose has a droopy tip. Having said that, when you deproject a nose, it tends to make the nose *look* longer, as if the tip had drooped more, so even on your nose, elevating the tip would be...
